Too Busy to be Bored

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I miss being bored.

Two days ago, a friend actually messaged me and told me he was bored. As much as I wanted to sympathize with him(I’m a good friend), I was too busy to be bored. On weekdays, not only do I cook, I write articles. On weekends, I either travel north, do gardening or laundry. I’m not complaining about my schedule, in fact, I’m thankful I’m busy. But you know, there will always be a time when you’d miss things you once had. Stuff like freedom and being lazy just watching TV or going around the internet laughing at the most ridiculous stuff. Heck, I was too lazy for too long my body would experience pain after doing something effort-full like carrying a heavy object. Then again, it wasn’t a good life.

Now I just miss being bored. But thankful I’m not bored. Oh the irony of it all. But then again, my busy life has made me realize, I’m not the same young girl I used to be. I have to grow up and become a little responsible. Hence, paying for myself and trying not to be a drag anymore.

Gone are the days when I was young and free. Makes me think about a song by the Corrs. It’s called Say. The very sentence or phrase that started this paragraph is the same one that started the song. If you haven’t heard it, here you go.

Oh, I’ve to go back to work now. Have an amazing life, everyone! 😀
